BITSAT 2010 - Admission Test For BITS Pilani- Copy of the advertisement
ya it is possible to score 350+ without the extra 12 questions but people who have the caliber to score 350 wil surely go for the extra 12....Again a word of caution dont be tempted to attempt the extra 12 unless u have ample time and enough confidence
@Anonymous: No...they wont...A score of 80% is a must...even if u get 79.99% you are not eligible
Prepare from CAT related material and for grammar and other related topics your 11 and 12 English is enough
Here is the link for the bitsat 2009 cutoffs
Click here
The good thing about Bits is that we dont have any fixed number of seats for any discipline...So 2 students with same marks will get the same degree in all cases
@Devendra: One can even attempt 135-140 questions to get a score of 350+...Attempting the extra 12 depends on how much risk you are willing to take
People generally write all exams with same efforts...So it is true that most people who get a score of above 350+ clear JEE....on the other hand the cutoff for compsci which has more than 100 seats is around 350...so there are many who couldnt clear JEE but got a good score in BITSAT :)
BITSAT is a different exam though the concepts are same...it is more about time management and your memory rather than your critical analysis....
So if you complete and revise your syllabus you have great chance of getting a score above 350 :)
Anyways 30 days decent time to prepare....If you have not prepared for competitive exams then get a BITSAT cd....apart from completing your syllabus try to write at least one exam per day
@pari: No you cannot leave any question blank if you want to attempt the exra 12 questions....you will have to guess few questions...attempt all 150 questions and then go for the extra 12....
Guessing is an art to be practiced even while writing a mock test...if you are not good at guessing don't do it....it will have bad effects
of the hall ticket or a black n white is ok?????
@Gurnank : Dude it is chemistry...you will have questions from Organic,Inorganic and Physical....What kind of question is that???
@Maansi: No I am not answering your question....Search for a topic called as hall ticket....post the question there....Cant you read the statement above and below this comment box???
useful blog!
In general they are tough
And questions mostly will be of lower level compared to AIEEE
